Bitmap Scores for Sounds that are drawn, i.

This series of books focuses on the mark-making made from a sound making event and transposing them into a bitmap which I invite you to read as you would a musical score so you as the viewer can attend to these clusters of pixels in an intuitive imagining of sound.

The first edition is a book made in response to the sculpture 'Acoustic Mirror One'. The marks are made by the mechanical aspect of the work which is how the sound is made in the piece: The wires dragging across the metal in a circular motion along side the ambient sounds of the room.

I am interested in how there is a subtle difference between repetative mark making and and hard mark making and how this affects our assumptions on the sounds made by such marks.
