Palace for Peoples

  This piece is an audio-visual installation that plays with the idea that sound and sculpture can be explored as one interconnecting idea that heightens each aspect sensually and conceptually broadening its sensory experience. 

The piece consists of metal sculptures that are suspended so that they may resonate with the environment around them. They are amplified using microphones that are hung within the objects, which are also rung by the mechanical element of the work. 

The sculptures resonate with the ambience of the space and I introduced a mechanical aspect of making sound to add to the soundscape of the installation as each sculpture maintains a sonic dialect between themselves.
